The Alcatel 7102 Residential Gateway (RGW) offers a cost-effective way to provide voice services as part of fully integrated IP communications at small-to-medium sized enterprise (SME) branch offices, apartments or residential areas. Featuring easy-to-configure user interfaces, the Alcatel 7102 RGW provides a variety of value-added services and integrated Internet and telephone communications over a single high-speed IP connection. The Alcatel 7102 RGW supports two or four analog ports for connectivity to plain old telephone service (POTS) phones and fax machines. It has a 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet interface for connectivity to the IP network and provides optimized packet voice services over IP. With a range of voice CODECs and compression levels, the Alcatel 7102 RGW enables low bandwidth consumption and high quality voice.
